The China Automobile Association stated that due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Europe and Southeast Asia,major chip suppliers have reduced production capacity or closed factories one after another,which has further exacerbated the imbalance between chip supply and demand,leading to the risk of chip shortages or even supply cuts for some downstream companies.The better-than-expected recovery of China’s auto market has further boosted demand for chips.

中汽协表示，欧洲和东南亚受新冠肺炎疫情的影响，主要芯片供应商降低产能或关停工厂的事件陆续发生，进一步加剧了芯片供需失衡，导致部分下游企业出现芯片短缺甚至断供的风险。而中国汽车市场的复苏超预期，也进一步推动了芯片需求增长。
