Recently,the International Federation of Robotics(IFR)released a report stating that global industrial robot shipments in 2021 will hit a new record of 486,800 units,a year-on-year increase of 27%.Asia/Australia saw the largest increase in demand:installations rose 33%to 354,500 units.The Americas grew 27 percent,with 49,400 units sold.Europe saw double-digit growth of 15%,with 78,000 units installed.Milton Guerry,President of the International Federation of Robotics(IFR),said:“Robot installations around the world have recovered strongly,making 2021 the most successful year ever for the robotics industry.demand has reached a high level.By 2021,it even surpassed the 2018 pre-pandemic record of 422,000 annual installs.”
