Motion control system refers to the automatic control system of electric transmission composed of the driving equipment of mechanical motion-the motor as the control object,the controller such as the single-chip microcomputer and the CPU as the core,and the power electronic power conversion device as the actuator.The automatic control system converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to realize mechanical movement.Motion controller is used to realize precise position control,speed control,acceleration control,torque or force control of mechanical motion.

Motion controllers can be classified into PLC programmable logic controllers,single-chip controllers,independent motion controllers,PC-based motion control cards,and network controllers according to their structure.According to the function of the controller,it can be divided into pulse-type motion controller and analog-type motion controller.
