国家制造业基金成立于2019年11月，由财政部等20名股东发起，主要围绕新材料、新一代信息技术、电力装备、高端数控机床和基础制造装备、工业机器人、核心零部件和元器件、关键仪器仪表、航空航天和新能源汽车产业链等领域开展战略性投资，是深耕制造业、助力中国制造转型升级的国家级基金。自成立以来，国家制造业基金已参与了创世纪、徐工集团、柳工、潍柴集团等多个制造业龙头的项目，并与多家央企骨干企业搭建了多支子基金。
