In 2021,Honeywell solemnly committed to achieve the carbon neutrality goal of all business operations and facilities by 2035,and will take various measures to fulfill its carbon neutrality commitment,including increasing investment in energy-saving projects,adopting renewable energy,implement asset improvement projects and,where necessary and allowable,utilize reliable carbon offset mechanisms,etc.,and use company-owned technologies to achieve these goals as much as possible.In April of this year,Honeywell announced that it has further strengthened its sustainability commitments on the basis of last year’s carbon neutrality goal,and included indirect carbon emissions in the value chain into its emission reduction goals.Honeywell will continue to drive carbon reduction through rigorous,end-to-end business operations.At the same time,Honeywell’s emission reductions will be publicly reported in accordance with the requirements of the Greenhouse Gas Accounting System and verified by a third party.
