In the second quarter of 2022,ABB expects underlying market demand to be broadly similar to the previous quarter.In the absence of an escalation of China’s lockdown measures,sales revenue in the second quarter in absolute terms tended to be strong quarter-on-quarter,supporting a slight quarter-on-quarter increase in profit margins.

We expect margins to improve steadily throughout 2022,reaching our target of at least 15%by 2023.To this end,we will drive efficiencies through the full implementation of a vertical operating model and a culture of performance across all business units.In addition,good market momentum and strong order backlog are expected to support our goals.

2022年第二季度，ABB预计基本的市场需求将与前一季度大体相似。在中国封控措施不升级的情况下，第二季度销售收入按绝对值计算环比趋于强劲，支持利润率小幅环比增长。

我们预计2022年全年利润率将稳步提高，到2023年实现至少15%的目标。为此，我们将通过在所有业务单元全面实施垂直化运营模式和绩效文化提升效率。此外，预期良好的市场势头和强劲的订单储备也将支持我们实现目标。
