An activatable USB 2.0 host interface on the PIT oe USB enables tamper-proof program import and data deletion.A keyboard or mouse can also be connected.The USB port is activated by a 24V signal;the”ready”status is indicated by an LED ring.

When used in conjunction with PITreader,it can only be activated with the appropriate license,and only authorized personnel are allowed to access it.When not in use,the cover protects the compact,robust control element to IP65.
