According to a report by the Japan Robot Industry Association,the number of Japanese robot exports in the second quarter of this year increased by 13%year-on-year.In the euro area,employment in computer programming rose instead of falling.In the first eight months of this year,U.S.merchandise imports fell 11 percent from a year earlier,but imports of industrial robots rose 5 percent,according to the U.S.International Trade Commission.

Through a partnership with artificial intelligence company Brain Corp,Walmart’s Sam’s Club plans to roll out 372 new automatic floor cleaners to its stores this fall,and the little robots come with a feature to analyze shelf inventory.Walmart said that robots and artificial intelligence can provide better solutions and help reduce costs as shoppers increasingly prefer shopping experiences with less contact with others due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control.
