The ACS 1000i comes standard with a 24-pulse diode rectifier bank,which eliminates harmonic disturbances to the grid without increasing the complexity of the frequency converter.It meets the stringent requirements of IEEE 519,IEC 61000-2-4 and EN standards for current and voltage harmonic distortion.No expensive harmonic analysis or filter configuration is required for new frequency conversion projects.

Voltage reflections and common-mode voltages-common to all inverters-can cause insulation damage to standard motors and cause harmful bearing currents.In addition,if precautions are not taken,the motor can also suffer from motor heating caused by higher harmonics generated during inverter switching.
