DCS is developed from the analog instrument control system.The initial function is mainly loop adjustment,and then the function of sequence control is added.The design idea of DCS is centralized operation management and decentralized control to improve the reliability and management capability of the entire system.The above advantages of DCS make it still mainstream in the high-end market of control systems.However,the price of DCS is higher than that of PLC,which is sometimes unbearable for some small and medium-sized enterprises with limited funds.
